Facebook post helps track down man suspected of masturbating on the road

A Eustis man was arrested for indecent exposure after admitting he drove around masturbating because he “gets horny” sometimes.

Driving past the Tavares welcome sign, a woman was on her way to Mount Dora when a gold Dodge minivan pulled up next to her in the left lane on Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Tavares Police Department. She then noticed that the driver, 63-year-old Jose Rafael Morales Martinez, kept speeding up and slowing down to keep pace with her.
She looked over to see Morales Martinez actively masturbating with his penis in plain sight. She grabbed her phone and was able to get a brief recording of him before he made a U-turn to head back westbound on U.S. Hwy 411. She also got a picture of the license plate number, later posting about this incident in the Mount Dora Word of Mouth on Facebook, the report said.

Another female user commented on this post and stated she had a similar incident with the same vehicle in February. She met with law enforcement the next day at the TPD and confirmed this, the report said.

Officers later determined the registered owner of the gold minivan was Morales Martinez’s boss at Brault Auto Electric & Auto. They met with him at a residence on Harris Road, during which Morales Martinez called to say he was bringing his Dodge Minivan back within the next 10 minutes. He was subsequently taken into custody and asked about the incident, the report said.

Morales Martinez advised that he drove around masturbating in public because he “gets horny” sometimes. When asked how many times he had done this within the past few months, he responded about six times, the report said.

The native of Puerto Rico was arrested on a charge of indecent exposure (exposure of sexual organs). He was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $2,500 bond.

British bunny officially the world's oldest rabbit at 15

A British couple's pet bunny was named the oldest rabbit living by Guinness World Records at the age of 15 years and 82 days old.

Herbie, a lionhead rabbit belonging to Surrey residents Richard and Melissa Dunham, had his age verified on Nov. 10, 2025, and Guinness World Records has now confirmed he is the oldest rabbit in the world.

The Dunhams said they adopted Herbie when he was just 8 weeks old as a companion for their female rabbit, Flopsy.

"Flopsy loved him and they bonded quickly and were devoted to each other for 10 years," Melissa Dunham told Guinness World Records.

She said Herbie, who has more than doubled his life expectancy, has a big personality.

"Herbie has always been very strong-willed and full of character. One of his favorite things when he was younger was being chased by Richard — he would deliberately run off, then stop and wait to be chased again as if it was a game he was controlling," she said.

Dunham said Herbie's current hobbies include snuggling with his humans on the couch and enjoying the sunshine in the garden.

Bee careful

A man in China who left his car window open was shocked to find dozens of bees had made a honeycomb when he returned from a 15-minute errand.

The driver in eastern Zhejiang province called the fire brigade for help, The Paper reported.

He was so frightened that he dared not get back into the car.

A honeycomb was formed attached to the interior of the vehicle above the passenger seat.

Firefighters in protective clothing tore off the honeycomb, put it into a sealed bag before moving it to a safe area to kill the insects.

Driver's license renewal leads Indiana woman to doppelganger mystery

An Indiana woman is searching for her doppelganger after she was flagged by facial recognition software while renewing her driver's license.

Erika Brown of Anderson said she was renewing her license at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles when the software indicated there could be fraud at play.

She was contacted by a Fraud and Security Enforcement investigator who requested evidence of her identity before her new license could be issued.

The officer showed Brown two side-by-side photos — her driver's license photo, and that of another Indiana woman who is the same age, but has a different name and address.

Brown said the resemblance was uncanny.

"What are the odds that we look so similar, live in the same place, and have never crossed paths?" she told WXIN-TV.

"I'm an only child, so no one really looks like me," she said. "Seeing someone who looks so much like me was really strange and bizarre. No one had ever told me, 'You look like so-and-so.'"

Brown's new license was finally issued after three months, but she is now trying to find her look-alike by posting a new TikTok video with an update on her search every day.

"I want to meet her, be in the same room, and know who she is," Brown said. "Does she have a family? What do her parents look like? How does something like this even happen genetically?"

Finnish Air Force reprimands cadet pilots for penis-shaped flight patterns

The patterns attracted attention on the Flightradar tracking service last week, around the time of a training exercise in the skies near Jyväskylä.

A training exercise involving Finnish Air Force cadet pilots has raised eyebrows after aircraft flight patterns, visible on the Flightradar tracking service, appeared to form crude shapes in the sky.

Tabloid Iltalehti reported last week that the incident took place on Monday 13 April, when students from the Air Force reserve officer pilot course were carrying out training flights.

Flight data shows several aircrafts taking off from Tikkakoski in Jyväskylä at around 7.30am. The subsequent radar images indicate that at least four of the flights went on routes that resembled the shape of a penis.

The Air Force confirmed to IL at the time that the pilots involved were students on the reserve officer course, adding that the cadets would be subject to "disciplinary" consequences.

In an email to Yle on Monday, a spokesperson for the Air Force said the purpose of the flights was to practise turns within an assigned training area.

"The aircraft remained in the training area assigned to the flight mission and performed the exercises given in the flight mission assignment. The aircraft did not deviate from their route," the email said.

The spokesperson added further that the flights did not pose any danger to other air traffic.

Yle understands that the Air Force has launched an investigation into the incident, but the force's spokesperson was unwilling to comment further on the sanctions the cadets may face.

"The Air Force requires soldiers to follow good manners and rules of conduct, and if these are deviated from, it will be responded to in an appropriate manner," the statement said.

Moose naps outside Montana radio station 'The Moose'

A Montana moose went for a self-guided tour of Bozeman and even took a nap in front of a radio station called The Moose.

Alivia Ballenger, a student at Montana State University, glanced outside her apartment Monday morning and saw a moose running across the neighboring vacant lot.

She sent video of the creature to her father, Travis Ballenger, who posted it to his House of Montana Realty business page on Facebook.

"I have the land listing for the property where the moose crossed," Travis Ballenger told the Bozeman Daily Chronicle. "My daughter woke up and there's this great big moose. It just ran right by my sign."

He said he hopes the visit raises interest in the property.

"It's a great lot," he said. "I think the moose thought so, too."

The moose was spotted all around Bozeman on Monday, and even settled down for a nap next to The Moose 94.7 radio station.

Controlling Boyfriend Tattoos His Name Dozens of Times on Woman’s Body, Including Her Face

A Dutch woman has undergone dozens of painful tattoo removal sessions to get rid of the 250 tattoos inked by her ex-boyfriend, including his name and initials.

Many women get their partners’ names or initials tattooed on their bodies, either under coercion or emotional pressure, but few stories are as extreme as the one recently revealed by Dutch foundation Stichting Spijt van Tattoo (Tattoo Regret). An abusive man personally inked his name and initials dozens of times on his girlfriend’s body, as a way of branding her as his property.

Referred to only as ‘Joke’ by Stichting Spijt van Tattoo, the middle-aged woman reportedly endured years of abuse and could only cope by numbing herself with alcohol and pills. Her controlling ex reportedly bought a cheap tattooing machine online and personally inked about 250 tattoos on her body, including “property of”, his name and his initials.

“[He tattooed her] In places he thought had been touched by other men, such as her breasts and buttocks. It was a sign of control and possession,” Andy Han, founder of Stichting Spijt van Tattoo, said, adding that some of the tattoos were on her face and neck.

Dutch publication NL Times published before and after photos of Joke, revealing her shocking transformation from having her face covered in tattoos to an almost completely clean slate. Both the victim and Stichting Spijt van Tattoo hope that this shocking story will inspire other victims of abuse to come forward and seek help.

“Those who have been deeply hurt can get back up,” Joke said on the foundation’s website. “If I can do it, then someone else can too.”

Pomeranian joins police dog unit in Japan after beating the odds

A tiny Pomeranian is making history in Japan after being recruited as a police dog, proving that size is not everything when it comes to tracking suspects.

According to Live Door News, a two-year-old Pomeranian named Haku has been officially appointed to work with the Hyuga Police Station in Miyazaki Prefecture.

It marks the first time a dog of his breed has been selected for the role in the region, where larger breeds like German Shepherds typically dominate.

Haku passed the police dog exam in December 2025, competing against 51 dogs in disciplines including tracking, scent identification, and area search. He qualified in the tracking category, a test designed to simulate pursuing a fleeing suspect.

“It’s very rare for a dog to pass on the first try in its first year,” his trainer, Hikaru Takekoshi said, explaining why Haku’s performance stood out.

Despite his small size and fluffy appearance, officers say there were no concerns about his ability once he passed.

“There’s no issue since he passed the test. We trust him,” a deputy chief at Hyuga Police Station said. “In urban areas, large dogs can intimidate residents, but small dogs don’t have that concern.”

Haku’s journey to becoming a police dog is just as unusual as he was originally born at a pet shop, and was later given up by his owner before being taken in by a police training facility. After around a year of training, his focus and drive convinced his handler to enter him into the exam early.

During testing, the pint-sized pomeranian reportedly showed a level of skill that even surprised his trainer. “He showed incredible concentration, and it made me feel again that he’s strong in real situations,” explained Takekoshi.

While Japan’s police dog system officially recognises larger breeds, smaller dogs have started to gain attention in recent years thanks to their agility and adaptability, especially in urban environments.

Haku has not yet been deployed but will work alongside his handler for the next year, assisting with investigations ranging from suspect tracking to missing-person searches.

Earlier this month, another police station in Japan made headlines after it reappointed its official Shiba Inu officer, giving him an official rank and police duties.

Three baby rabbits stow away to oil rig in Europe's North Sea

A wildlife rescue in Scotland is caring for three baby rabbits that stowed away in an offshore container and wound up on the deck of an oil rig in the North Sea.

Ithaca Energy said on social media that the baby bunnies apparently took shelter in the container in Dundee, Scotland, before it was transported by road to Aberdeen and loaded onto an FS Aquarius vessel bound for the Valaris Norway oil rig on the company's Cygnus Platform, about 93 miles off the coast of Lincolnshire, England.

Two of the rabbits were found running loose on the rig's pipe deck and were rounded up by members of the crew, who placed them in a box in the radio room with some water and fresh vegetables.

The bunnies were transported back to Scotland, where they turned over to the New Arc Wildlife Rescue for care.

The FS Aquarius returned to the oil rig, where a third baby bunny was soon found hiding inside a forklift.

The third rabbit was also returned to the mainland, where it was reunited with its siblings.

"All three rabbits are now doing well at our rescue center, and eating us out of house and home," New Arc said in a Facebook post.

Ultra-rare split-colored lobster caught off Cape Cod

A lobster fishing boat off the coast of Cape Cod landed an extremely rare split-color lobster, which officials said is considered a 1 in 50 million catch.

The Wellfleet Shellfish Company said the fishing vessel Timothy Michael discovered the lobster with rare half-and-half coloring on April 16.

The company decided to donate the lobster to the Woods Hole Science Aquarium, where it will live out the rest of its life and be viewable by the public.

The lobster is currently in the care of the Marine Biological Laboratory of NOAA Fisheries in Woods Hole, Mass., until renovations at the aquarium are finished.

"Split lobsters like this are extraordinarily rare — caused by unique genetic variations that create their striking half-and-half coloring," Wellfleet said on social media.
