Mafia: A Royal Battle

The king has died, the king has been poisoned! The heir to the throne was crowned. But he is surrounded by treason – his own Hand wants his place. The King’s Hand has gathered the noble lords of the capital to kill the king and take the throne. The battle in the royal palace is at its bloodiest phase. Killings happen every day, the king doesn’t know who to trust, and only his citizens are to his aid. Roles: Peaceful Roles The King: The King wants only the best for his people – and his pocket – therefore does not sleep at night, following suspect after suspect in an attempt to figure everything out. At daytime: Together with the citizens, tries to expose the Lords. At night: Follows one of the suspects and by the end of the night, knows his role. Doctor: The doctor is sincerely worried about the dark times in the kingdom and does his best to defend the peaceful society. At daytime: Together with the citizens, tries to expose the Lords. At night: Chooses a patient and treats him. May treat himself only once in a row, may treat others only twice in a row. Clown: A lowborn guy who has an amazing sense of humor. At daytime: Together with the citizens, tries to expose the Lords. At night: Chooses a person to visit and have fun with. The person he visited skips his work at night. The Lords skip their work only if the clown visits the Hand. Citizen: A usual citizen in the country. At daytime: Tries to expose the Lords. At night: sleeps. Not Peaceful Roles: King’s Hand: The King’s Hand is very cunning. While he appears to be doing the best for the realm, he secretly dreams of becoming King some day. At daytime: Acts as a peaceful person; tries to hang a citizen. At night: kills. Sends a message to the moderator: “Kill <nickname>”. If the person has been treated by the doctor, he does not die. If the Hand is killed, he leaves an heir by his choice. The Lords: are “colleagues” of the Hand. They try to kill the king. At daytime: Act as peaceful citizens; try to hang everyone except themselves. At night: Together with the Hand, choose a person to kill. Neutral Roles: The Ghost: the ghost of some dead lover, forgotten in the cupboard. At daytime: acts as a citizen; tries to hang a lord. At night: visits one of the players and scares them. The scared player loses the ability to make any move at night. If he visits the same person twice, the person dies. Victory: Citizens win if no one of the Lords (including the Hand) stays alive. The Lords win if none of the peacemakers or the ghost stays alive. The Ghost wins if he is the only one alive or if he stays alive with the citizens (implying all of the Lords are dead). Nuances: The voting takes place in a separate topic. If a character with a special role cannot visit the forum at night, he may send the moderator messages with his actions, but not more than for two successive nights. Sleepyheads (players who have not written anything in the topic or voted for two successive days/nights) are killed by a poison in their wine. The first day does not count. The killed bodies have the right to say a final word (one post) using the off topic tags. They may not give slightest hints about the game. The role cards may not be shown to anyone till the end of the game. The King’s Hand and his Lords are familiar to each other and may communicate outside of the game’s topic. Other players do not have this privilege. Those who have done this would be disqualified. If two candidates have the same amount of votes, no one is hanged. Time: Kiev Timing: Day one: 22:00 till 16:00. Night one: 16:00 till 17:00. Day two: 17:00 till 21:00. Night two: 21:00 till 22:00. Moscow Timing: Day one: 23:00 till 17:00. Night one: 17:00 till 18:00. Day two: 18:00 till 22:00. Night two: 22:00 till 23:00.

Малюк, I thought of that, but not everyone knows those characters. And it's kinda complicated, you don't have like strictly positive or negative characters to divide into "peace" and "not peace". Though a Stark-Lannister mafia would be cool. Nevertheless, it's a great idea for something bigger than this, you have like 400 sides fighting each other.))
