IELTS and others | Языковые экзамены, how and whyyy me?

Did you do this exam? Why did you need it?
And what is you result?

My level is B1-B2.
How tell me my english tutor, I'm "ok intermediate" :morning:

WolfHunter, B1-B2 is pretty good. I'm sure you'll get to C one day.

I haven't taken IELTS, but I took another test because neither IELTS nor TOEFL were available in the small town I lived in. It was a science-based test, and I barely passed it on my 2nd try when I was 17. The first time, the topic of the test was smallpox. The second time, the test was about pesticides. I barely know anything about those in Russian, and I totally had to clue about neither one of those topics in English. =lol= One task was to listen to the narrator and write down lecture notes, and some of those notes included chemical formulas. Again, I knew almost zero about chemistry in my native language, so how would I complete the task in English? Lol.

EILTS is much better because it's a general knowledge test. I hope no one gets to take a science-related test like I did because it was quite challenging.
