Мой юный падаван =smile_cry= тебе так до сих пор никто и не обьяснил, что WHAT не употребляется в конструкциях "иметь в виду, ЧТО", "полагать, ЧТО" и т.д.? =drag= Сама буква W в этом слове уже говорит, что это ВОПРОСИТЕЛЬНАЯ форма. There - where, then - when, that - what. Соответственно в этих конструкциях используется НЕ вопросительная форма "I believe THAT", "I think THAT" etc.
Неужели в школе этого не проходили???

Кстати, English пишется с прописной буквы ВСЕГДА.

В школах, я вижу, перестали учить и простейшие артикли. К примеру это уже не первый раз, когда Гуффи пишет множественное число с артиклем a, в том числе и там, где артикля вообще не нужно. Как, например, в цитате выше.

I do agree with you, but listening and understanding is usually much harder for the Ukrainians and those who come from postsoviet territories because of the difference in prononcuation between natives and us. and of course the temp of speaking is also important. that's why we need to put more efforts to make our listening practice better. maybe that is the point of what Guffy tried to explain

In my humble opinion, modern textbooks using in general schools (without in-depth study of English) are so... poor. I know, I'm not a member of Ministry of Education, and I havn't written my own textbook... But I'm just a little girl who wants to learn English. :unsure:
